Above, you will see the overall current stage of your project. Additionally, within each stage, you will see the current step highlighted as well as future steps grayed out.

You can log in anytime to check on the status of your project as it moves through the design, permitting, and build phases.

Here are some additional aspects you might find helpful from within the portal:

Referrals: Get rewarded for submitting referrals directly or by sharing your unique referral page located on the lefthand side under Referrals.

Monitoring your System: Once your solar system is activated, you can monitor your solar system production & estimated savings.

Service & Maintenance: You can submit a service request directly under the Contact link on the lefthand side menu.

Congratulations, your solar project is officially underway! The immediate next step is to schedule your site survey. We’ll be in touch to get that scheduled. Please note that we will be calling you from (410) 220-4739.

During the visit, our surveyor will need access to your roof, main electrical panel, and any attic space to take photos and measurements. In many cases, we will fly a drone to take detailed pictures. The survey is quick and our assessor will only require a brief check-in with you upon arrival.

Now that the site survey is complete and we have all of the necessary information, our Design Team is hard at work creating a final design for your solar system.

Once completed, your Field Energy Advisor will reach out to you for final approval of the updated design.

After approval of your design, a professional engineer will assess and stamp your project for application readiness.

Our engineering team has finalized your solar system design, received the necessary approvals, and handed everything off to our applications team. They’re now working on submitting all required applications.

Please note, applications may vary depending on your location and that while we submit these as quickly as possible, review and approval times may vary depending on your county, utility company, and HOA, if applicable.

Our applications team has completed all necessary submissions and secured the required approvals for your project. We’re now in the process of procuring and staging your equipment. One of our scheduling specialists will be in touch soon to schedule your solar installation.

Our crew will arrive between 8-10 AM and will need access to your roof, main electrical panel, and any attic space in there area where panels will be installed. The crew will introduce themselves, review the placement of equipment, and answer any initial questions. Please note that if weather delays the installation, you’ll receive an email around 6 AM, followed by a call after 8 AM to reschedule.

While we do our best to coordinate with the county, please note that the inspection date and time are subject to change based on the inspector’s availability.

Our team has completed all of the necessary inspections. With that step done, we’re moving forward and coordinating with your utility company for Permission to Operate (PTO).

Please note that while we submit these as quickly as possible, review and approval times can vary depending on your location and utility company. Typically, PTO is granted within 30 days.

Congratulations, your Permission to Operate (PTO) has been granted by your utility company and your solar system is now authorized for full operation.

As a last step, please activate your system by locating the grey disconnect box labeled 'Photovoltaic Disconnect for Utility Operation' (within 10 feet of your electrical meter) and move the lever to the 'ON' position.

Your system monitoring dashboard will be live in this portal within the next few business days and we will send you one final email when fullly setup.
